Our Founder and President Morris Madden also plays a key role on the field as our General Manager and a Head Coach. Off the field Coach Madden takes pride in being a father and a sports fan. Prior to establishing the Carolinas Metro Reds organization he pitched in the MLB.

Alan Barnes
Board Chair member Alan Barnes is a huge part of our organization. Father and Cincinnati, Ohio native Barnes is a fan of the Cincinnati Reds. Prior to his position at Carolinas Metro Reds Barnes was a partner at Accenture.

Bob Szymkiewicz
Responsible for community engagement Bob Szymkiewicz plays a critical role in the growth of our organization. Szymkiewicz considers himself a sports fan who finds passion in being a community organizer. Prior to his position at Carolinas Metro Reds Szymkiewicz was an Air Traffic Controller at Federal Aviation Administration.

Jamal Kinard
Director of Coaching Jamal Kinard has a tremendous impact on the development of our youth. A former baseball coach for Gardner-Webb University, Kinard’s experience with the game has been crucial for our players development. In addition, to his role with Carolinas Metro Reds, Kinard is a community organizing and culture development consultant.
